SBU Volleyball Camps
COLLEGE BOUND CAMPS
A campus tour by the admissions staff is part of this camp.
We will weave together an indoor camp and a beach camp on each camp day.
We do not host campers overnight on campus. Best Western Plus is right by campus and I'm told it's a nice hotel.
The marketplace (cafeteria/dining hall) will likely be closed. There are plenty of restaurant options in Bolivar near campus. The lunch break is a good chance to drive around town for a few minutes as well.
The actual camp will be about 2 ½ to 3 hours including warm up/cooldown. This camp is specifically designed to meet recruits and give them a chance to see the campus, talk to admissions, get to know the coaches and some of players, get to meet potential future teammates and other recruits, etc... there's a lot to accomplish in one day and we only need about 2 1/2 hours of actual vball to get a feel for each other.
This camp is open to "any and all participants" who will be in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade when attending high school in the fall.
This camp is a small camp that will likely have between 14 to 20 girls in attendance. A waitlist will be created to sign up if you do not get into the camp before the limit is reached.
BOTH CAMPS, JUNE 7TH AND JULY 12TH, ARE THE SAME FORMAT THIS YEAR. I ENCOURAGE 2027 GRADUATES TO ATTEND THE JULY 12TH CAMP IF BOTH CAMP DATES WORK FOR YOU.
